“You are visiting the 2nd open inspection of the day, from a carefully curated list of properties from your buyer’s agent. You instantly have a gut feeling this is the one, but there are so many other people attending. Unsure if you should put in the offer as a first home buyer, you visit the 3rd open inspection of the day. The 2nd one still lingering on your mind. You are still indecisive and need a day or two to think about it. You are gently pressed to go for it as they already know it’ll sell incredibly quickly. They recommend to go a little higher than other predicted offers to beat out the low ball offers. Still well within budget. You are the top offer. You nervously wait to see if anyone else comes back with a higher offer.. *5hrs after you attended the inspection* It’s accepted.” – “What happened to me. As a first home buyer, my new home would’ve slipped straight through my fingers without the knowledge and care taken by Lake Macquarie Buyers Agency. They were on top of everything and dodged so many special levies when viewing apartments that I would’ve missed. They were accommodating to reviewing my parent’s list of properties that looked absolutely fantastic, however they had already seen these and spotted the issues we missed. (so many special levies…)

When I was referred to them by my Mortgage Broker I was highly skeptical, and the people around me told me I was crazy to need a buyer’s agent (“That’s for Rich People!!”). But I inquired about fees and made sure they were exactly what I would be paying. And they clearly painted exactly what would be their hand in the pie. Which to my surprise was extremely reasonable and was exactly what I paid in the end.
